Presented by the

CSSC is conducting pre-competitive research and development of computer software in order to:

• complete the core research activities necessary to allow the creation of technology that will permit the extension of database management technology to text-intensive data;
  
• produce working prototypes that are based on these new technologies;
  
• apply the working technology to several large real-world problems;
  
• undertake a concerted effort to present the research, the technology and the success stories to the appropriate international standards committees and technical publications in order to ensure acceptance.
